During the week the children attend Chapel Time in the sanctuary. During this time the children learn the Pledge to the United States Flag, Pledge to the Christian Flag, Pledge to the Bible, Pledge to the Cross, The Lord’s Prayer, Ten Commandments, Bible Stories, songs and finger plays.
Praying with children reflect and share what they are thankful for. Even our two year old children begin to understand this concept and are excited to share that they are thankful for mommy and daddy. Teachers help to model this concept by also sharing what they are thankful for.
Pastor Ken Bersche has Chapel with the children every Wednesday. The children listen to Pastor as he tells the stories from God’s Word, the Bible. They learn to pray and learn about worship. All the children enjoy listening to Pastor Bersche and this is a special part of the week for all the children.
The children participate one Sunday to sing in front of the congregation and their families. Everyone’s heart fills with joy to hear these children perform.
